#pressrelease Belle Haven Action Adds Additional Health Testing Options
for the Community in Partnership with Work Site Labs
August 16, 2022. Menlo Park, CA Belle Haven Action (BHA) in partnership with Work Site Labs is hosting an additional Blood Pressure Monitoring and Glucose Testing Clinic along with the regularly scheduled Covid-19 PCR Testing on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Boys &; Girls Club of the Peninsula at 401 Pierce Road in Menlo Park, CA.
The additional services will continue on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for the remainder of the year. These events are designed for residents in the community to obtain COVID-19 testing, blood pressure and blood sugar screening at the same appointment at the same time. Starting in September, the site will offer educational information on diabetes, nutrition, exercise, and mental health. These continued efforts are designed to provide direct and easy access to the Belle Haven community. Work/life balance, family, transportation, and time constraints are challenges within the community and this program provides needed resources to those who are otherwise not able to get tested regularly. BHA is grateful to help bring easy access to health and wellness into our community; the partnership with Worksite Labs to provide PCR Testing began February of 2022.
